There are many beautiful areas in Aiea and the surrounding areas. Among these is the gorgeous and historic Kea’iwa Heiau State Recreational Area, the ruins of a temple, believed to have healing powers, at the summit of Aiea Heights. This scenic area consists of camping facilities open to the public and a 4.8-mile hiking trail of all challenge levels that offer clear views of Pearl Harbor and the ocean beyond.
