Bishop Square is a charming park area right in the middle of Downtown providing the perfect place for the lunch crowd to come and relax, have a bite to eat, and enjoy some sunshine before heading back to work. There are also dozens of quaint cafes, specialty coffee shops, and charming bistros available to choose from.
For the nightowls in the neighborhood, Aloha Tower Marketplace is the spot to hit up. This popular nighttime destination features live music over happy hour and late into the night, excellent bars and restaurants, and a plethora of incredible activity and entertainment options.
Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Foster Botanical Garden. This 13.5-acre garden is minutes from the thriving Downtown core of Honolulu. The beautiful and well-maintained area is home to gorgeous flora, tall and mighty trees, and peaceful walking paths. Foster Botanical Garden is a quaint little oasis in the middle of a hustling and bustling city.
Shopping in Downtown Honolulu is a real treat. The best place to go is the Ala Moana Center, the world’s largest open-air shopping complex. With four floors and over 350 stores and restaurants to peruse, Ala Moana Center has got something for everyone. The mall happens to be home to the world’s largest collection of luxury retailers, four large department stores as anchors, and a diverse array of locally-owned and operated unique boutique shops.
