The beautiful neighborhood of Kamiloiki is a peaceful, safe residential community located in Honolulu on the beautiful Hawaii island. Nestled in the most northern section of Mariners Valley, the neighborhood makes up a vast stretch of land blending in the extension of communities together. Kamiloiki starts just past the Kamiloiki Neighborhood Park at 1135 Lunalilo Home Rd and includes the homes beginning in 1074 Kolokolo St, just past the Mariners Village III townhomes. The Kamiloiki neighborhood also consists of Kamiloiki Pl, Kaiama Pl, and the newer section with Miloiki St and Miloiki Pl.
Consisting of single family homes, the community was originally built between 1980 and 1987, excluding the newer back section of homes along Miloiki St and Miloiki Pl as they have been built between 1991 and 2006. There is a clear division between the older Kamiloiki home and the newer homes beginning on Miloki St.
The majority of Kamiloiki homes are built on large lots ranging from 5,250 and 9,000 square feet. Some of the larger perimeter lots range between 9,000 and 13,000 square feet but typically run up the steep terrain against the mountains. Sometimes larger lots in this community do not translate to larger usable yards.
Although, some of the back lots with higher elevations offer pleasant views overlooking Mariners Valley towards the marina and the crystal clear ocean.
The Kamiloiki neighborhood consists of a mixture of single-level and 2-story homes ranging between 1,100 and 2,000 square feet of living space. While the newer, more modern dwellings along Miloiki St tend to be larger, offering 2,000 to 3,000 square feet of living space spread out over 2- or 3-stories.
Residents choose the beautiful life here in the Kamiloiki neighborhood to enjoy the quiet, peaceful setting in the back of the valley and the recreational Kamiloiki Neighborhood Park at the entrance to the community, making the area fit for young couples, families, and retirees alike.
