Camp Smith & Fort Shafter

Pearl City is located 9 miles away from Honolulu and offers beautiful views of the ocean. The area is also popular with nature enthusiasts, beachgoers, and hikers. Pearl City has a booming tourism industry and international trade so there are plenty of job opportunities in the area. Residents enjoy spending their time at one of the many parks in the area, like the Pacheco Playground, Pearl City Kai Playground, and the Pearl Harbor Wildlife Refuge. Pearl City Shopping Center is home to a number of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options. Leeward Community College and West Oahu- the University of Hawaii are also located here. If you have college-aged children, living in Pearl City will be a convenient option for you.
